About Me


Dr. Liz Wierba is a fully-licensed Psychologist specializing in adult, adolescent and child and therapy and maintains a private practice in Ann Arbor, Michigan. She is trained and experienced in providing a full range of evidenced-based treatment for individuals and families seeking help with problems of anxiety, depression, grief, relationship problems, attention, academic and parenting concerns. Dr. Wierba provides a safe and compassionate place to discuss your concerns.  Her goal is to provide you with an individualized approach using evidence-based practices. Ann Arbor’s University Center for the Child and Family (UCCF), Counseling and Psychological Services at the University of Michigan (UM CAPS), St. Joseph Mercy Behavioral Health Services, and Battle Creek’s Venture Behavioral Health, are among the sites where she received clinical training in adult, adolescent, and child and therapy and evaluation.

 Prior to her work as a clinician, Dr. Wierba completed a doctorate in Organizational Psychology (1998), and a post-doctoral fellowship from the School of Information (2002), both at The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor.  She completed a post-doctoral Respecialization in Clinical Psychology from Fielding Graduate University (2013).  She has served as a faculty member at The University of Michigan in Ann Arbor teaching organizational and clinical psychology for 13 years.
